OmniWave® Shockwave

A handheld applicator focused on the areas you choose. Most people describe a gentle tapping or pulsing. We adjust the intensity for your comfort, and you go straight back to your day.

That spot between your shoulder blades no stretch ever reaches? OmniWave® Shockwave therapy in Valley Village, built into your 90-minute hands-on session for stubborn neck, shoulder and back tension.

  • OmniWave® uses focused sound waves designed to provide targeted, non-invasive support for your recovery routine. At Myo Evolution, about 10–20 minutes of OmniWave work (up to 30 when several areas are worked on) is built into your 90-minute hands-on session, with settings adjusted for your comfort.

TECAR

Comfortable radiofrequency warming, worked in with the hands. It usually runs 15 to 30 minutes of a visit, and we check in so the warmth stays pleasant.

Turning your whole body just to check your blind spot? TECAR therapy in Valley Village: adjustable warming with hands-on myofascial release, within a 90-minute session. TECAR also supports lymphatic drainage.

  • TECAR combines targeted radiofrequency warming with hands-on work designed to support recovery and comfortable movement. At Myo Evolution, we use the Winback BACK4 for about 15–30 minutes within your 90-minute session.
  • The Winback BACK4 delivers targeted radiofrequency energy alongside Hi-EMS and Hi-TENS. Hi-EMS uses medium-frequency electrical muscle stimulation for deep muscle recruitment; Hi-TENS uses low-frequency comfort currents.
  • Capacitive (CET) mode provides superficial warming for muscles.
  • Resistive (RET) mode provides targeted deep warming for tendons, ligaments and around joints.
  • Your practitioner can wear specialized Winback bracelets that transfer TECAR energy through their hands while they work.
  • Winback TECAR also supports lymphatic drainage.

A quiet, seated addition.

Wired at 9pm and can’t switch off? A quiet BioCharger® session at our Valley Village studio, about 10–15 minutes, before or after your massage.

You sit or stand comfortably 3 to 5 feet from the device while your selected frequency recipe runs. There is no physical contact, and sessions usually last 10–15 minutes, with some running up to 30. You can schedule it before or after a massage, or on its own visit as part of a program. Many clients describe their sessions as calming and restful.

How often

  • We typically suggest 2 to 4 sessions a week.
  • More is not better: the maker notes that overuse can reduce the benefit.
  • Many people notice something after one session.
  • Regular visits make it part of your routine, which is why Unlimited usually suits better than one session at a time.

Before your first session

  • Not for use during pregnancy, or with metal plating in or near the head.
  • With a pacemaker, defibrillator or insulin pump: sit at least 6 feet away, and never closer than 3 feet.
  • Sensitive to flashing light (for example epilepsy or migraines)? Tell us and we adjust the setup.
  • Under 18: with a parent or guardian.
